$19.29 per hour 8:00 am – 5:00 pm 40 hours per week. Some on call may be required.
Essential duties: Serve arrest warrants, hearing notices and other court related documents, provide security to Domestic Relations Officers in courtroom, apprehend defendants who fail to appear for court and fail to pay court ordered child support, transport prisoners to and from the prison to the courthouse or from one prison to another.
Education/Employment: An example of acceptable qualifications for this position is completion of high school degree or the equivalent and two years of experience in investigation work or work requiring public contact and the acquisition of facts or making personal service of legal documents. Act 2 Certification is required but could be obtained for the right candidate after hiring. Must have a valid PA Driver’s License.
Use of firearms, tasers and security equipment is required for this position.
