The Washington County Domestic Relations office is seeking to hire a FT Title IV-D Attorney to provide legal services and to assist in the establishment and enforcement of orders of paternity and child support as mandated by the Cooperative Agreement, per Attachment B.
A Juris Doctor Degree and a license to practice law in Pennsylvania (member of the Pennsylvania Bar) are required, as is prior experience as an attorney. Experience with Pennsylvania Appellate practice beneficial. Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures and regulations governing the Domestic Relations Section and Title IV-D program preferred.
This position will provide contributions to training for the Domestic Relations personnel, serve as a liaison to the Court of Common Pleas, and other duties with direct impact on Title IV-D cases. Computer skills are necessary. Position is in an office environment and involves sitting, standing, and occasional carrying of case files. Professional dress.
Salary – $63,378.17 + benefits
